When life feels difficult

Overload, uncertainty, masking and unmet needs can make everyday life exhausting. Struggling is a signal that support or change may be needed.

01

Notice early signs

Increased sensitivity, withdrawing, losing words, sleep changes or finding small tasks impossible can be signs that a person’s capacity is stretched.

02

Reduce before you add

Fewer demands, quieter spaces, predictable plans and recovery time often help more than adding another strategy or expectation.

03

Reach out

If distress is persistent, safety is at risk or mental health is worsening, contact a GP or appropriate urgent support. No one should have to manage alone.
